Why is my dishwasher not draining?

  • Make sure the door is completely closed and latched.
  • Press Cancel/Drain to try and drain the standing water. It is normal for a small amount of water to remain in the bottom of the sump area at the base of the pump. This is to ensure that the pump seal does not dry out.
  • If there is more than an inch of water in the bottom of the unit, call for professional service.
