My dishwasher detergent dispenser cup does not open...
- Check the dispenser cup for debris and old detergent build-up. This may prevent the cup from opening properly to dispense the dishwasher detergent.
- If your unit uses a bi-metal switch operated by a timer, if the bi-metal switch is faulty, the cup will not open to dispense the detergent.
- The dishwasher timer assembly controls the sequence of the dishwasher cycle. A faulty timer will make the detergent cup dispenser open intermittently. Call a professional appliance repairman to service the unit.

My dishwasher does not fill.
- Make sure the door is completely closed and latched. The water supply valve must be turned on for the dishwasher to fill.
- Remove obstructions from the float area. Move the float up and down to see if it moves freely. The overfill protection float (in the front right corner of the dishwasher tub) keeps the dishwasher from overfilling. It must be in place for the dishwasher to operate.

Why is my dishwasher not draining?
- Make sure the door is completely closed and latched.
- Press Cancel/Drain to try and drain the standing water. It is normal for a small amount of water to remain in the bottom of the sump area at the base of the pump. This is to ensure that the pump seal does not dry out.
- If there is more than an inch of water in the bottom of the unit, call for professional service.
