How Do You Know When Your A/C Air Ducts Need To Be Cleaned?

It is easy to check to see if your air ducts need to be cleaned. This should only take a few minutes.

You will need the following items:

• Screwdriver
• Flashlight (If the wall register is not in a well-lit location) 

To determine if your air ducts need to be cleaned.

1. Locate an HVAC wall register.
2. Using the screwdriver, remove the wall register cover.
3. Look into the air duct for dust, dirt or debris. If you see any of the contaminants listed, your air ducts should be cleaned by a professional HVAC technician.
